Birds Around Las Vegas, Wildlife Around Las Vegas
Five species of pigeons are expected in the Las Vegas area. Three species are native, and the other two are introduced from the old world. Band-tailed Pigeons can be found in the Pine-Fir forests on Mt. Charleston, and the other species can be found in urban areas such as parks and residential neighborhoods around Las Vegas.
